Reconnecting with Your Body
Welcome. If you’re here, it’s because you’re seeking a deeper connection with your body. Many of us become disconnected from our physical selves due to various life experiences, societal pressures, or trauma. This page is dedicated to helping you understand and heal this disconnection, fostering a healthier relationship with your body.
Symptoms of Disconnection from Your Body
Disconnection from your body can manifest in various ways. You might be experiencing some of the following symptoms:

Alexithymia: Difficulty identifying and expressing emotions.
Lack of Presence: Often feeling absent, distracted, or not fully engaged in the present moment.
Unawareness of Hunger Cues: Difficulty recognizing when you are hungry or full.
Physical Numbness: Feeling numb or disconnected from physical sensations.
Chronic Tension: Persistent muscle tension or physical discomfort without a clear cause.
Disordered Eating: Irregular eating patterns or an unhealthy relationship with food.
Body Shame: Negative feelings or critical thoughts about your body.
